Reputation

Reputation is intended to be an indicator of a user's contributions to the 5-Bomb community. You gain reputation by liking/disliking articles and resources, commenting on articles and resources(coming soon), tagging articles, participating in the forums, correcting site data, having content you add 'liked', etc.

Reputation is broken into three categories.

• 100 - Interaction
• 100 - Contribution
• 100 - Esteem

Interaction - Defines your level of social activity within the 5B community. Things like posting on the forums, commenting on content, or liking/disliking content will raise your Interaction score.

Contribution - Defines how much content you've added to the 5B community. Things like posting on the forums, commenting on content, or liking/disliking content will raise your Interaction score.

Esteem - Defines your level of prestige amongst the 5B community. When other users like your forum posts, content comments, etc. your Esteem score will rise.

The more reputation you have, the more social or administrative features will be available to you. The scale is listed below.

All actions are monitored, and many actions have a cool-down. That is, they can only be performed once per 30 seconds, etc. This is all to prevent abuse of the website. Users who abuse the privileges that come with their reputation level may have reputation points taken away, be put on probation, or have their accounts disabled permanently. Please play nice.
